Our brilliant HR team is looking for an Associate HR Business Partner to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract basis to support the Harrods Buying & Merchandising team. These teams are what makes Harrods, Harrods – as the most prestigious department store in the world, what we sell is dependent on the expertise and influence of our Buying and Merchandising function.

As an Associate HR Business Partner, you will be trusted and relied upon to drive people initiatives and positive change, working closely with leaders across B&M. You will be part of a large HR team working in a Centre of Excellence model, drawing on the expertise and support of an established HRBP team.

About the Role

Becoming the Associate HR Business Partner here at Harrods will open the door for you into the world of luxury retail. Reporting into the HR Business Partner, you will be partnering with directors, who in turn report directly into the MD. You will have full accountability and responsibility for advising and supporting the areas you partner, with the aim of driving continued growth. You will use your knowledge of HR best practice, commercial awareness, and a flexible and empathetic approach to do this.

The Buying & Merchandising teams have undergone a period of transformation, and with this comes a lot of opportunity. The Associate HRBP will be pivotal in supporting the successful adoption of change initiatives and driving a continuous improvement mindset. Within this role, a few of your primary focus areas will be culture change, career progression and performance; partnering effectively with our HR centre of excellences to deliver results. You will create a positive reset of the basics; ensuring we are working in the best way possible for the benefit of the business.

About You

As Assistant HR Business Partner, you’ll be an established HR Advisor ready to step into your next role, or a junior HR Business Partner looking for an exciting new challenge. You will have had successful experience in a fast-paced commercially driven business. You will ideally be CIPD qualified and have prior experience working with large client groups and partnering senior stakeholders.

You will be an innovative HR professional interested in industry trends, you will be data-focused, collaborative in your approach and passionate about delivering a great HR support to the areas you partner.
