Across our front and back of house teams, we drive ourselves and inspire others to always push for more and to create moments of magic for our customers. We constant look to push the boundaries within culinary experiences and are always on the look out for the very best talent to join our leading chef-led restaurants and world-famous food hall destinations in our iconic department store in Knightsbridge.

Front of House

Front of House

We currently house more celebrity chefs and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK. Ranging from 3 AA Rosette find dining to our casual dining cafes and everything in between. Our Front of House team is responsible for interacting with guests and ensuring a high quality customer experience. Greeting & seating customers, taking orders, serving food & beverage, menu guidance, regularly checking on guests. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork, knowledge of food/beverage are essential as well as being able to manage multiple tables & guests.

This team creates all the fresh dishes on offer in our infamous Food Halls, and support our restaurants with their prep work.

Pastry and Bakery

Pastry and Bakery are responsible for all the fresh patisserie, deserts, and bakes goods all across the store.

Stewarding

Our teams of Kitchen Porters and Linen room team who make sure our kitchens and our chefs uniforms are clean, tidy and safe.

Key Roles

Heading

Waiters and Waitresses across Harrods flex to the customers needs, going above and beyond wherever possible. They ensure the restaurant runs smoothly whilst maintaining Harrods’ high standards of quality, service and maximizing productivity.

The role of a Host is service focused, with a key focus on maximizing the customer experience and working as part of the Front of House team to ensure excellent service is provided.

Kitchen Porters are responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen, ensuring a high standard of hygiene at all times. Working alongside the Chefs, you will have to follow clear instructions and at times show a great sense of initiative to ensure that all agreed standards of cleaning are achieved in a timely manner.

In the role of Demi Chef de Partie, you’ll actively provide direction and support to the team to deliver the day to day operational requirements. You’ll assist the management in the planning and forecasting of stock and orders, support with the organisation, stock rotation and labelling of food that is stored.

The Chef de Rang role reports into the Supervisor and Assistant Manager. You will have accountability of areas within the restaurant ensuring it’s smooth running and going above and beyond for everyone who attends.

Our Bartenders have a focus on daily operational excellence and the role’s key attributes will be delivering a world class bar experience. The main responsibilities are to support the bar team to deliver on the combined Harrods goals, as agreed with the Head Bartender and Bar Manager.
