What does DE&I mean to Harrods

What will I need to provide as part of my application?
You will need to apply with an up to date CV and if you are successful, the appropriate Right to work details such as a passport.
What does the application process look like?
This is dependent on the area in which you applied for- It will begin with an online Harrods values assessment once you’ve applied. Upon passing, your Resourcing Partner for the area you have applied will be touch.
Depending on where you are applying the process may change – you may go through a “Day in the Life” online assessment, you may need to provide a portfolio or may be asked to prepare a presentation. You will receive communication or your Resourcing Partner will talk all of this through with you so you’re as prepared as you can be. In the meantime do check out our How We Hire page
Can I apply for more than role at Harrods?
Yes, you can. Each application will be treated separately but we want you to have the best chance of securing a role so do consider the skills, experience required for each role and apply for the role that suits you best. Review your CV and tailor your expertise to the role you are applying for to help your application stand out from the rest.
If I don’t hear from anyone regarding my application, what shall I do?
You should hear back regarding your application within about 48 hours – however, if you don’t feel free to contact us. contact us
Do you offer Apprenticeships or Graduate opportunities?
Yes we offer a selection of Apprenticeship and Graduate opportunities – please speak with your Resourcing Partner for further details. Alternatively, roles will be advertised when available.
Do you provide sponsorship?
We may consider sponsorship for certain roles across the business dependant on the role and skills we’re looking for. Please speak with your Resourcing Partner for more information or drop us a line.Contact Us

How can I best prepare for my interview?
Take a look at the Harrods website to read more around our story, and values. Even better pop by Knightsbridge or one of our nationwide H beauty stores to see the team in action. Will my interview be virtual or in person?
This is dependent on the area that you are applying for, however we are doing a mixture of face to face and virtual – you will be informed closer to the time.
What is the dress code for interviews?
We operate a dress for your day policy, the department you’ll work in should be reflected in how you present yourself. However, we want you to feel comfortable and be yourself so don’t be afraid to show a little personality.
What do I need to do if I require reasonable adjustments as part of my application process?

My interview is on teams - I don't have this - how can I get support to download?
You will receive instructions for this along with your interview confirmation.

I’ve been offered a role with Harrods, what happens next?
Firstly, congratulations and welcome to the Harrods family! You will receive a verbal offer from your Resourcing Partner and you will then receive your contract via email and will need to use the login details on your Workday account to complete a number of tasks. You can expect to receive this within 48 hours. If in doubt, or if you have questions during the onboarding process reach out to your Resourcing Partner. We’re here to make the process as seamless as possible.
Where can I find the specifics of my role, such as a full job description?
Your Resourcing Partner will provide you with this.
How will I find what my salary will be?
Your Resourcing Partner will discuss salary and the wider benefits package with you.
How often will I get paid?
The 28th of every month.
What will my first week look like at Harrods?
You will start your first day with an induction and a store tour and you will receive details of this at least 48 hours before your first day. Your line manager will be in touch with you to discuss the finer details.
What if I want to refer a friend to work at Harrods?
We know great people know great people - we have a competitive referral package in place once you are an employee and will receive details on this during your onboarding period.
I’ve worked for Harrods before, how can I reapply?
We welcome applications from ex-employees, however, you will need to apply via the careers site and will be processed by our resourcing team. Alternatively, please join our Harrods Alumni to keep up to date with all things Harrods https://alumni.harrods.com/ .
