By using our website or placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) and the documents referred to within them. We reserve the right to modify these T&Cs at any time.

Hiring Process

Our hiring process has been designed to be as thorough and comprehensive as possible, all the while aiming to providing you with a great candidate journey. The stages in our hiring process are there to help us understand you and your experience better, as well as providing you with an open an honest representation of working life at Harrods. We promise to review all CVs we receive thoroughly and respond to all queries promptly. We aim to treat every candidate fairly and with respect and to make the process as transparent and efficient as possible. If you require us to consider reasonable adjustments to the hiring process, please let us know.

Throughout the hiring process, we will aim to keep in touch and inform and guide you through every step of the way. There are various ways in which you can get in touch with the Resourcing team. When applying to a job vacancy online

Harrods will never ask for personal information such as credit or debit card details, a copy of your passport or driving license, nor will we ask you for any type of payment. All communication with the Harrods Careers team will be from a Harrods email account. All adverts on partner websites are clearly branded and will take you straight to the Harrods Careers website to complete your application through our Talent Management System powered by HRSmart and Monster.



What to expect next:

1. Initial Application & CV Screen
Completing the first stage Allow plenty of time to complete the application process. Ensure you’ve read the job description thoroughly. Once submitted, you will receive an email confirming your application has been received
For ShopFloor sales roles, you’ll be asked to complete a Talent Screener questionnaire as part of your initial application. This is a multiple choice quiz that helps us assess your suitability to the role. Please complete this within 2 working days and note that you will be rejected from the role if you don’t reach the required score. Your application will be screened / assessed.

2. Telephone / Video Interview
If successful, you’ll be invited to attend a video or telephone interview. Book your telephone interview or complete your video interview within 3 working days of receiving the invitation. Please note that if you are unable to complete a video reason due to lack of equipment or other reasons, we are happy to provide an alternative method.

3. Assessment Centre - Our chance to meet each other
If successful after video/telephone interview, you may be asked to attend an assessment centre. This will be a group interview of max. 15 people and will last approximately one hour. Book a slot in an assessment centre within three working days of receiving the invitation.

4. Resourcing / Line Manager Interview - A one to one
If successful after a telephone/video interview, you may be asked to meet with one of our recruiters. This will be a face-to-face interview lasting approximately 45 minutes. If successful after an assessment centre or resourcing interview, you will be invited to a line manager interview. This will be a face-to-face interview with a hiring manager lasting approximately 45 minutes.

5. Prepared Task - Digging a bit deeper
If your role is of a technical nature, you could be asked to complete a relevant task or assessment after your face-to-face interview. You will be notified via email to arrange this.

6. Final Stage Interview - The final decision
At final stage, you will be notified whether or not you have been successful for the role, and receive feedback from one of our recruiters. This is also your opportunity to ask any further questions you may have about the recruitment process.
