As well as being our central nervous system, IT is also a vital part of how we reach, engage with and delight our multi-national customer base. That calls for a keen understanding of how IT drives business growth and customer satisfaction, as well as serious technical expertise across a wide range of platforms and systems.

Spanning multiple departments such as Business Solutions, Data Analytics and Networks, Cyber Security, Digital Technology, Project Management, PMO, Retail Systems and Vendor Applications, we sit across the entire business enabling our people to work safely, securely, and with reliable tools and platforms to ensure Harrods remains not just the number one destination for our customers, but a career of choice for our people.

IT Business Solutions

The Business Solutions team prioritizes Engagement, Business Analysis, Architecture, and Product. They collaborate with Senior Business Stakeholders to define and refine project scopes, ensuring technology alignment through Solution Architects. During delivery, Solution Architects maintain architectural standards while Product Owners focus on continuous improvement and innovation in an agile framework.

IT Retail Systems and PMO

IT Retail Systems and PMO

The Retail Systems Team focuses on managing over 900 tills and related hardware to ensure effective customer service, while the PMO guides investment decisions, project governance, and delivery of IT initiatives that benefit the business and customers. Our PMO team, consisting of Analysts, Project Coordinators, and Managers, is dedicated to high-quality project execution across all business areas.

IT Programme Management

IT Programme Management

The department focuses on delivering transformation programs, including replatforming .com and implementing a comprehensive customer experience stack for a unified customer view. It prioritizes automation in Buying & Merchandising and Supply Chain operations. The program teams are structured by combining internal business process owners and subject matter experts with specialized contractors to ensure effective delivery of these initiatives.

In SAP & Data Analytics we support the business by maintaining and developing our core finance, supply chain, and merchandising systems, as well as providing our business colleagues the tools & insight they need to continue to drive their departments and spot opportunities for growth.

IT End User and Enterprise Systems

IT End User and Enterprise Systems

The Digital Technology team is a multi-disciplinary group responsible for applications across Customer, Ecommerce, Digital, and Corporate domains, including the ecommerce platform and CRM Customer Experience platform. They collaborate with third-party vendors for SaaS implementations and work with internal Engineering teams to create custom solutions. The team is organized into four sub-teams: Platform, Development, Testing, and DevOps, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable services.

IT Services Management Office

The department includes the IT Service Management Office and IT Vendor Applications, focusing on delivering and supporting IT services while governing service management processes. The IT Vendor Applications team manages the application portfolio to ensure it meets business needs and follows best practices in application and vendor management. Looking ahead, the department will continue to support operations, drive improvements, and migrate on-premise applications to the cloud.

Harrods Own Label

Harrods' own-label buying team, select, designs, and sources premium products to be sold under its our own brand name, rather than under the labels of external designers or manufacturers.

Key Roles

As a DevOps Engineer, you will support daily operational activities while collaborating with the Digital Technology team to ensure effective delivery of new functionality and projects. You'll work closely with various teams across the business and third-party technology partners to maintain high standards in delivering a robust and reliable service, with the role being fully remote and requiring occasional office travel.

The Test Lead role will involve supporting the maturity of the test process within a Dev Ops delivery team, leading a small team of QA testers by coordinating the testing efforts to identify, resolve issues to accelerate product time to market.

Responsible for business engagement, for understanding impact of changes across the entire organisation, and managing the change through the impacted business areas; work with business to understand people/process changes and impacts to organsation structure, budgets and technology; support new ways of working in and across teams.
