Our second H beauty store is soon to be launching in Milton Keynes, bringing more magic, innovation, and theatre to the beauty market. This exciting new H Beauty concept is all about bringing customer experience to life, allowing them to creatively engage with and learn more about the beauty products they are purchasing, while enjoying a fun and creative retail environment.

About the role

Joining the H beauty Retail team as a Stock Operative, you will ensure that deliveries are processed efficiently and accurately. You will work alongside the Sales Manager and Retail team to ensure stock is stored appropriately in line with Harrods standards. Some of the responsibilities involved in the role will be:

Stock/Stockroom Management

  • Keep stock and stockrooms tidy and clean, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Ensure safe handling, storage and packing of all merchandise
  • Ensure all stock is correctly ticketed and priced
  • Action price changes and markdowns when necessary
  • Assist with stock takes and sales preparation

Reporting & Insights

  • Solve stock audits in a timely manner to resolve stock related discrepancies.
  • Complete stock adjustment and write off forms for approval by the Sales Manager
  • Quality control all RTVs, ensuring they adhere to Harrods standards

Systems

  • Up to date with all relevant SAP functionalities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all relevant support functions or external contacts

Deliveries

  • Unpack and check off deliveries against delivery notes, immediately raising discrepancies.
  • Alert retail team to delivery of new lines

RTVs

  • Pick and pack RTV stock ensuring they adhere to Harrods standards, are dispatched safely and update the RTV tracker
  • Maintain filling system for RTV paperwork

About you

  • Previous stock management experience
  • Good PC literacy and numeracy
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail whilst working under tight deadlines
  • Up to date with all relevant SAP functionalities
