Communicate
Well

My first tip would be communication. Communication is important because when you're speaking to your interviewer, it's vital that you're able to put your points across in a fluid way that comes across authentic. Therefore, it's vital that before you do your interview, you practice with friends or family, including recording yourself and hearing yourself back.

Your Unique
Experience

My next tip would be experience, bring this to the interviewer, mention how what you've been through has shaped you and has built you for this moment. This will not only show a level of competency, but will also show the interviewer something different about you. It will give them something to think about, and that will make you a non-negotiable.

Know Your
Purpose

Saying that you just want to be in fashion or retail isn't enough. You need to understand why it is that you're so driven by those things. Once you do, when you have your interview and you tell this to the person that's speaking to you, it will create a level of authenticity and genuine passion that will stand you out from anybody else.
