Stock Operative

Our Operations Team is an integral part of Fine Watches and Jewellery here at Harrods, and we are looking for a motivated Stock Operative to work with our team.  Within the role, you would be responsible for securely, efficiently, and accurately collecting, processing, and transporting stock between deliveries, photoshoots, dispatch, and the shopfloor; while ensuring that stock is stored and managed to Harrods standards.

About the Role

The key responsibilities of a Stock Operative include maintaining clean and organised Fine Watches and Jewellery stockrooms and regularly handling, storing, and packing merchandise. You will transport and dispatch stock securely, including Fine Watches, Jewellery, Assay deliveries and RTV items.

You will also:

• Follow Health & Safety standards.
• Ensure proper ticketing and pricing.
• Support stocktakes and inventory processes as needed.
• Manage delivery processes: unpack, QC, and track on SAP, raising discrepancies promptly.
• Facilitate stock replenishment to shopfloor and boutiques.
• Coordinate stock transfers and returns, maintaining accurate records and quality control.
• Attend briefing meetings and training sessions as required.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who has strong time management skills, high attention to detail and is able to multi-task. As a Stock Operative, you will be working in a fast paced environment and use your initiative to perform duties. You will need experience working within operations and stock processes, able to work towards tight deadlines and use strong communication skills to work with our team of Stock Controllers.

Other qualities needed for the role are:

• Proficient in SAP, Excel, and general PC literacy.
• Be able to perform manual handling duties adhering to relevant guidance and training.
• Able to lift up to 20kg and perform manual handling safely.
• Flexible working hours and willingness to adapt to business needs.
