We’re looking for a HR Business Partner to join the HR team who operates at a strategic level, a true partner to the business who can demonstrate their commerciality, business focus and delivery ability.

This is a 9 month fixed term contract.

Throughout this contract, you will drive and lead impactful initiatives for our Knightsbridge retail offering; you will be responsible for delivering the HR strategy for the most well-known, sought-after department store in the world.

About the Role

As a true Business Partner to the Retail Director and the Chief Retail officer, your support and guidance will drive strategic HR and business initiatives which are fundamental to the success of the retail business.  Your drive, tenacity and passion for people will shine through in your professional delivery and ability to build relationships quickly and effectively.

As part of the HR Business Partnering team you will manage a small team, being passionate about their development, keen to support them to be their best and help them expand their skillsets to allow them to grow. Whilst doing this you will report into the Senior Human Resources Business Partner.

This role contributes to the successful embedding of corporate HR strategy initiatives, and you will ensure local business requirements are accounted for in the design and delivery of such initiatives. Throughout this period, you will see people processes such as talent, our annual Loop survey and employee engagement initiatives through end to end. You will be responsible for leading budgeting processes for the retail business; the future of the landmark function for Harrods.

About You

You are a key partner to the business who can demonstrate the seniority to which you have partnered in previous roles as well as the key initiatives you have delivered.  We are very interested in looking at people from varied, high-volume backgrounds, including but not limited to hospitality & leisure, entertainment, event management and services, transportation, logistics and travel & tourism.

You will have managed small teams, and be a keen interrogator of data insights and statistic interrogation, knowing how to translate these into actionable insights. CIPD qualified, you are a naturally curious person who stays on top of HR and people trends.
