Our HR team is looking for a Head of Total Reward to lead, shape and deliver a forward-thinking reward and recognition strategy that keeps Harrods a truly exceptional place to work.

About the Role

In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the development and delivery of Harrods’ total reward, compensation, benefits and recognition frameworks. Reporting directly to the Director of HR Operations, you’ll ensure our approach is data-led, commercially aligned and reflects our commitment to fairness, transparency and high performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing our total reward strategy to attract, engage and retain top talent.
  • Overseeing competitive compensation structures, variable pay schemes and annual salary review processes.
  • Managing our benefits strategy and partnerships to deliver an engaging, cost-effective and inclusive offering.
  • Leading recognition programmes and colleague events, celebrating contributions across the business.
  • Driving organisation design initiatives, maintaining consistent grading frameworks and advising senior leaders on structural change.
  • Partnering with HR, Finance and senior stakeholders to align reward initiatives with our overall people and business strategy.

This role follows our hybrid working policy, allowing you to work from home part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site depending on business needs.

About You

You’ll be an experienced reward leader who is commercially savvy, data-driven and passionate about people.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience in a senior reward leadership role, ideally in a complex, customer-led environment.
  • Expertise in UK compensation, benefits, recognition frameworks and compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead organisational design and structural change, including job evaluation and grading.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the confidence to advise executive teams and the board.
  • The ability to manage and inspire a multi-disciplinary team while delivering high-impact reward solutions.
