We’re currently looking for a Deputy Content Manager to join our .Com Creative Content team on a 12-month fixed term basis (September 2024 – August 2025). Being part of a prestigious brand with a rich heritage and global presence, the Deputy Content Manager supports with the management of a seamless and engaging digital customer experience.

About the Role

Working alongside the Content Manager, this role involves content planning, channel management and reporting across web, app, email and social media. Our Deputy Content Manager is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of Harrods' digital content strategy (under the guidance of the Content Manager), whilst collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality content aligned with brand values and business objectives.

It is imperative the Deputy Content Manager maintains the digital content calendar across web, app, email channels, and social platforms, as well as plotting brand packages in the digital content calendar and scheduling annualised packages in advance of media bookings.

By extracting actionable insights from reports, the Deputy Content Manager will propose strategic, data-driven recommendations for digital media package evolution and optimisation, and devise new user behaviour-driven media opportunities across the website. Additionally, this role delivers reporting for partnerships packages and placements, utilizing tools like Google Analytics and Dashboards for PCR.

About You

You will have experience in digital content management, with strong creative content expertise and confidence with editing. You’ll also have a thorough understanding of digital channels and analytics tools, with experience turning data analysis into actional recommendations for content direction and optimising channel performance.

You’ll also:

  • Have excellent project management and communication skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ideally, have prior experience within either luxury or retail industries, and can showcase an ability to deliver results in competitive markets.
  • Excel in fast-paced environments and adeptly manage multiple projects.
  • Exhibit commercial acumen with a proactive approach and excellent time management skills.
