Our Store Operations team are now looking for a Business Resilience Manager to manage and develop the Business Continuity Management programme (BCM) as well as ensuring the BCM programme delivers robust and viable crisis plans that apply to the nature, scale and complexity of the organisation. 


This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days a week being worked in Knightsbridge, with the rest of the week working from home. 


About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Resilience Manager to join our retail department store. As the Business Resilience Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of our business operations and effectively managing crisis situations.


Other responsibilities will include:
•    Working alongside Business Continuity Leaders operating within every directorate of the company to develop and maintain Business Impact Analysis.
•    Leading the annual Business Impact Analysis of key locations and functions, using the output to inform strategic decisions.
•    Building and embedding an awareness culture of the business continuity issues throughout the company.
•    Managing the BCM programme so that it engages key third-party suppliers and outsourcing companies where their products or services are crucial in supporting the organisation’s critical activities.
•    Becoming the ‘company expert’ on all Business Continuity Management matters.
•    Providing the Harrods group of companies and subsidiaries with guidance and support on all BCM matters and to objectively assess their capabilities.


About You 


You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent organisation and time management skills. You will have the ability to work unsupervised, independently and will be able to interface and influence all levels within the organisation whilst working as a team. 


You will be a professional and committed individual who has experience within Business Continuity Management involving crisis management and emergency response. Experience using Resilience software such as Fusion, Riskonnect or Archer is also preferable. You will ideally hold a CBCI or be a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI).
