Test Lead (POS)

We are looking for a Point of Sale (POS) Test Lead to join our IT team here at Harrods. ensure the functionality, performance, reliability, and quality of POS systems before deployment in a retail environment.

This role is 5 days in the office.

About The Role

As the Test Lead (POS) you will design and implement comprehensive test strategies for POS solutions, including test cases for hardware, software, integrations, and user interfaces. You will also lead the validation of POS systems to meet operational requirements, ensuring compliance with security standards, and detecting and addressing defects.

You will also;

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of testers to execute test cases effectively.
• Collaborate with development and support teams to resolve issues promptly
• Act as the primary point of contact for all POS testing activities
• Coordinate and support UAT sessions with end-users to validate POS systems meet operational needs.
• Identify potential risks in POS deployment and testing.

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Manual tester and Team Lead within POS. It is important that you have previous experience in both API testing and the supporting tools and Automation testing

You will also have the following;

• Experience with popular test management tools, such as Azure Dev Ops, JIRA
• Excellent communication skills, be adaptable with the changing needs of the project, and be able to identify risks to quality
  or timelines
• Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines
• Relevant certifications in QA and testing (
