Project Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager on a Fixed Term contract. This role will support the smooth running of Interior Design projects from the initial brief and approvals stage to planning, resourcing, tendering, delivery and installation.

Overseeing projects both domestically and internationally, as a Project Manager for Harrods Interior Design you will work across a range of High-End Luxury Residential projects alongside the Design Team as well as external consultants and contractors.

About the role

You must have a clear understanding of the high-end interior design industry and delivery processes in the UK, in-house project management experience would be preferable. For this role, you will guide projects and teams in order to meet the project objectives as well as the business as a whole.

On a daily basis, you will be responsible for planning and liaising closely with the project teams on deliverables and timelines. You will ensure internal and external communication on projects is concise and in line with the department processes as well as other administrative tasks. You will also be facilitating project team meetings, issuing minutes, and following up to ensure day-to-day communication and actions are managed smoothly and effectively.

You will support the Senior Project Manager, in achieving the project objective in a timely manner, in line with budgets.

About You

You will have a background in Architecture or Interior Design, with proven experience in managing and delivering projects within the Luxury High-End Residential field.

You will be comfortable with multitasking and able to deliver multiple projects simultaneously on time, within budget and meet the project objectives. As a keen team player, you will be able to build and maintain relationships, not only with our internal teams but our external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a high level of organization skills and be able to prioritize your work as well as the team. You'll sustain a positive outlook and stay calm under pressure. These are the required credentials for the role:

• Construction Project Management, Architecture or Interior Design Degree.
• Self-motivation, a flexible approach and strong use of judgement and initiative
• Experience managing Interior Design or Architecture projects from start to end
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability and willingness to prioritise projects while meeting deadlines
• A team player, with a positive attitude and ability to support your colleagues to achieve their best.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders
• Proficient at using AutoCAD, MSOffice 365, including Excel and MS Projects and Adobe Suite
