We are looking for a Payroll Systems and Compliance Analyst to join our Payroll team. You will be crucial in ensuring that all of our Payroll systems and policies are upgraded and in accordance with current legislation.

About the Role

If you are a Senior Payroll Administrator or a Payroll Technician looking for your next step in Payroll, then this job might be for you. Do you have a keen interest in payroll legislation and processes? This is a brand new position, created to accommodate the increase of compliance responsibility within the payroll function. Reporting to the Assistant Payroll Manager, you will provide an efficient and professional payroll service, ensuring all systems and policies are up-to-date and compliant with current legislation. Your role will focus on system control, risk assessment, and managing key controls to maintain the highest standards of compliance and data integrity.

You will be working with the business to ensure that the following are updated with any Payroll processes and legislation, including the Risk and Control Matrix, GDPR reviewing, Compliance Framework, Risk Review, Internal and External Audit, HMRC and Pensions. You will analyse and make recommendations regarding payroll compliance for the business, and ensure changes to legislation and company policies are updated and reflect the right information. You will be able to provide statistical data in the form of a Payroll/HR dashboard for distribution within HR and the wider business.

About You

As the Payroll Systems and Compliance Analyst, you will have worked across high volume end to end payroll throughout your career, ideally in a commercial environment, for a large business.

You will also:

  • Have advanced working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ideally you will have knowledge of Resourcelink and Workday but this is not essential.
  • Have excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
