We’re looking for a Lead Health and Safety Advisor to join our experienced team at Harrods. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of one of the world’s most iconic luxury brands, shaping a strong safety culture and making a lasting impact across the Harrods Group.

About the Role

As Lead Health and Safety Advisor, you’ll take ownership of our health and safety strategy, working closely with the Head of Fire, Health and Safety to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. You’ll lead key initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and create an environment where safety is second nature.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee day-to-day Health & Safety operations and deliver strategic projects.
  • Build strong relationships across all Harrods sites to embed best practice.
  • Deputise for the Head of Fire, Health and Safety when required.
  • Provide clear, practical solutions to health and safety challenges.
  • Drive innovation and foster a proactive safety culture.

About You

You’re an experienced health and safety professional with the confidence to influence at all levels and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your technical expertise, combined with strong communication skills, will enable you to lead initiatives that make a real difference.

You’ll also have:

  • Proven experience in health and safety advisory roles, with auditing expertise
  • Progression towards Chartered IOSH membership (or equivalent).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills, including experience with senior management.
  • Ability to deliver training, write clear policies and reports, and manage audit and training programmes.
  • Competence in risk assessment and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
