Harrods presents an exciting opportunity to join the Creative Content Team as a Junior Email Designer to support the Email Team in designing and coding Harrods emails.

About the Role  

As a Junior Designer you will use your creative skills to design emails that are engaging, and on brand using either Photoshop or Figma. This requires you to follow briefs from the content team for BAU emails and from brands for brand mailer emails 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Building HTML emails ready for deployment through SAP Marketing Cloud (SMC)using reusable blocks. Often creating multiple dynamic versions 
  • Testing the emails to ensure they render as expected, particularly on mobile and dark mode. 
  • Making any necessary amends following feedback from CRM team during testing. 
  • Keeping up to date on email best practices and latest developments.

About You  

As a dedicated Junior Email Designer, you will bring a passion for design and a meticulous eye for detail. You will thrive in dynamic environments where deadlines are paramount. You have a strong genuine passion for both the creative and coding parts of this role. 

As well as: 

  • Eager to learn and develop new skills and have a creative flair. 
  • A passion for design is important as well as a keen eye for typography and contemporary design. 
  • Good working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite  
  • Some experience with Figma a bonus.  
  • Have a basic understanding of HTML coding 
  • Able to amend HTML coding from designed templates, with a good understanding of email building. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Able to work on multiple projects at the same time, understand and follow a brief. 
  • Calm under pressure with excellent communication skills and have the ability to deliver high quality work to deadlines
