We’re looking for a proactive and driven HR Services Team Lead to oversee and support a team of HR Assistants, ensuring efficient service delivery and high-quality support across our HR functions.

About the Role

As the HR Services Team Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in supervising a dedicated HR team, ensuring they meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and handle daily tasks effectively. As a trusted professional, you’ll manage the team’s workload, support their development, and handle HR Assistant duties as required to ensure seamless case resolutions. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives within the HR Services function, enhancing both team performance and overall HR service delivery.

Your duties will also include:

  • Collaborating closely with the HR Services Assistant Manager to manage case load distribution across the team.
  • Leading daily HR processes within the team, ensuring efficient execution and high-quality service.
  • Creating and maintaining work schedules to meet business demands, including inductions and face-to-face responsibilities.
  • Engaging in daily HR Assistant activities, providing team coverage across phone lines, receptions, and case handling.
  • Developing the HR Assistant team to ensure they deliver a credible, trusted front-line service, meeting the needs of our colleagues and leaders.

About You

You will be an experienced leader with a strong background in HR operations, capable of driving high service standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. With a strategic mindset, you’ll leverage data to make informed decisions and inspire a proactive, service-oriented team. Your attention to detail, collaborative spirit, and commitment to professional integrity ensure you excel as a mentor and role model within HR Services.

You will also have:

  • Prior experience as a Senior or Team Leader within an HR environment, with knowledge of HR policies and employment law.
  • A comprehensive understanding of SLA management, KPI tracking, and service improvement techniques.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems (Workday preferred).
