We’re currently looking for a full time Furniture Specialist to join our welcoming and close-knit Harrods family in our Piano department. If you are a luxury home décor enthusiast with an eye for detail and product specifications, passionate about exceptional customer service and pianos, and confident using technology (ordering systems, MS Excel etc.) this is the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role
As a Furniture Specialist, you’ll be responsible for providing world-class, personal customer service and demonstrating exceptional product knowledge. You will proactively build a loyal client database and you will accurately process Furniture orders and continuously drive and convert leads to achieve business goals.
 
Your core responsibilities will be selling pianos and bringing the customers vision to life through your product knowledge and service skills. You will collaborate with Private and Personal Shopping, along with our Harrods Interior Design Team, whilst taking ownership and being accountable for Furniture orders from start to finish, including aftercare, in order to maintain exceptional levels of customer service.
 

About You
You will ideally have experience working in a furniture & lifestyle environment with a  premium or luxury retailer. You’ll be responsible for providing a world-class, personal customer service, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge, and building quality customer relationships to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for the values and Harrods brand.
 
You will also:

  • Have a passion for providing excellent customer service by proactively engaging with all clients and put the customer journey at the heart of what you do.
  • Build a great relationship and trust with your customers inspiring them through our carefully curated showrooms, catalogues and presentations and offering them viable design solutions, through full consultations to ensure that each client is fully aware of our range of products and services.
  • Dedicate all attention and resources in order to exceed client’s expectations. With excellent listening skills and the ability to adapt to fast-changing situations you will be proactive in finding solutions and tailoring individual experiences. 
  • Be an excellent communicator following up on each lead and every sale in addition to keeping clients regularly informed of their order status. You will therefore be well placed to make further recommendations and add on sales should the opportunity arise.
  • Be an industry expert, you are constantly following the furniture and piano business and are aware of the latest industry trends.
