Buyers Clerk - Baby & Nursery Furniture

We are recruiting for a Buyers Clerk to join our Baby and Nursery Team, supporting the smooth operation of the Buying office.

About the role
As a Buyers Clerk within our Baby and Nursery team, you will be responsible for managing critical paths, raising POs and providing general admin support to your team.

As part of one of the most exciting and fast-moving buying departments in the world, you will be responsible for:

•  Creating all Purchase Orders for the department with the Senior Buyer’s Clerk
• Ensuring all PO’s are confirmed and on the system ahead of the new season
•  Assisting the Buyer with completing the Buyer’s Sheet
•  Inputting data required for the orderRequesting order confirmations from the brands

About you
As a pivotal cog in the Buying team, you will be flexible and ready for change, able to adapt to changing priorities.  Attention to detail is a must which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels.

The ideal candidate will have awareness of the luxury fashion sector as well as possessing:

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: specifically Excel and Word
• A passion for pursuing a career in Buying
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• The ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
• Strong admin experience
• SAP & Excel knowledge
