We are looking for an Associate Procurement Category Manager to join the Procurement team here at Harrods. You will be reporting into the Category Manager.

This role is a hybrid position, however for the duration of the training this role will require you to be on site 5 days a week. This role involves travel to Hammersmith, Knightsbridge and Thatcham.

About the Role

As the Associate Procurement Category Manager you be will supporting the development of categories on a rotational basis and assist in management of the cost base by delivering opportunities that drive costs out. You will do this through strong negotiation, value engineering, strengthening supplier relationships to mitigate risk and improve performance.

The Associate Procurement Category Manager will be responsible for the procurement of goods and services in IT and Supply Chain. The role will cover strategic category management, delivery of short to long term cost improvements and supplier relationship management.

About You

We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of procurement processes, policies, and legislation. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain and develop strategic external relationships, as well a strong customer service focus when dealing with both internal and external parties.

Additionally, you will be PC literate and demonstrate strong time-management skills and the ability and willingness to multi-task.
