Our Stock Operations team are now looking for a fulltime Stock Operative to join them in our Heathrow location across all terminals.

The shifts are between the hours of 9am-5pm (subject to change in peak periods) 5 out of 7 days of the week with regular weekend work.

Please note, due to the location of this role, all successful applicants will need to provide satisfactory references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check to obtain an airside pass. Ideally you will already hold an airside pass which will fast track the application, but this is not essential. 
Due to the current unprecedented demand on the Airport ID unit, new airside pass applications are currently taking approximately 3 months from point of application. Further details regarding timeframes will be provided at interview stage.


About the Role

The Stock Operative helps to ensure that deliveries are processed efficiently and accurately, and that stock is stored appropriately to the Harrods standard.
In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Keeping stock and stockrooms tidy and clean, adhering to Health & Safety standards
  • Ensuring safe handling, storage & packing of all merchandise
  • Ensuring all stock is correctly ticketed and priced, immediately raising any discrepancies with the Stock Control Specialist
  • Actioning price changes and markdowns when necessary
  • Carrying out stock audits daily
  • Assisting with stocktakes and sale preparation as required
  • Maintaining filing system for delivery packing lists
  • Inputting and update details on the faulty trackers on a regular basis
  • Unpacking and checking off deliveries against delivery notes, immediately raising discrepancies and quality issues with the Stock Control Specialist.

About You 

You will have great attention to detail as you will be checking key details of luxury orders on a day to day basis. You will be hard working, quick thinking and have the ability to take initiative. You will be a valuable team player who thrives on getting the job done to a high Harrods standard. You will have great timekeeping ability with flexibility to support the team across multiple functions with the team end goal in mind.
