Our Restaurant and Kitchens Stock Operations team are now looking for Stock Operatives to join their growing team in our Knightsbridge location.

Please note, this is a fixed term contract until May 2025.

About The Role
The Stock Operative helps to ensure that deliveries and movement of food products from our kitchens to the shop floor are processed efficiently and accurately, and that stock is stored appropriately to the Harrods standard.


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Keeping stock and stockrooms tidy and clean, adhering to Health & Safety standards
  • Ensuring safe handling, storage & packing of food products and ingredients
  • Ensuring all stock is correctly counted, and immediately raising any discrepancies with the Stock Control Specialist
  • Carrying out stock audits daily
  • Assisting with stocktakes as required
  • Maintaining filing system for delivery packing lists
  • Inputting and update details on the faulty trackers on a regular basis
  • Unpacking and checking off deliveries against delivery notes, immediately raising discrepancies and quality issues with the Stock Control Specialist.

About You 
You will have great attention to detail as you will be checking key details of Restaurants and Kitchens orders on a day by day basis. You will be confident with handling food based products, hard working, quick thinking and have the ability to take initiative.

You will be a valuable team player who thrives on getting the job done to a high Harrods standard. You will have great timekeeping ability with flexibility to support the team across multiple functions with the team end goal in mind.
