Salon Assistant

Our Hair and Beauty Salon are looking for a new team-member to provide support and assist with the upkeep of the salon. Our Hair and Beauty Salon is an unrivalled beauty space offering the most exclusive treatments and products.

About The Role 

In this role you will ensure that health and safety standards and cleanliness levels are maintained. You will check that all equipment and laundry are organised and cleaned prior to being used by senior colleagues. 

You will greet and gown clients, prepping them for their appointment, whilst assisting senior colleagues with the services provided. If required, you will be carrying out treatments such as shampooing, neutralising or removing colour, under supervision. 

About You 

You will demonstrate strong organisational skills and outstanding customer service. You will know how to engage positively with clients whilst promoting a positive image of yourself and the salon.

You will have a passion for the hair and beauty industry with the eagerness to learn and adapt. You will also need: 

• Strong organisational skills to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritise accordingly. 
• To be able to work independently and without supervision.
• The ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers alike. 
• Experience in stock checking and stock counting. 
• Practical skills in hairstyling to assist senior hairstylists.
