H beauty is no normal beauty hall, with a champagne bar, blow dry bar, interactive playtables to try on the latest products, a Harrods gift shop, and a big pink bear for your Instagram pictures; we are focussed on delivering an inspiring shopping experience and being a destination with the most sought-after brands from around globe.

About the Role

The Sales Manager is a key part of the store leadership team. As an exceptional leader, working with a team of Assistant Managers, you will work to achieve and deliver our business vision: the “Anything is Possible” in the beauty world. You will be able to easily set and translate goals and direction for your team, and can inspire and deliver the customer and commercial performance for both your departments and the wider store.

In this role you will be a team player and natural collaborator with a “relationship first” focus. You will know that it’s by building authentic and genuine relationships with your people that you’ll get the best out of them.

About You

You will have a strong retail management background (beauty industry experience is desirable but not essential) and a proven track record of leading large teams. You will be a relationship led leader, ensuring all colleagues feel valued, included, and help your team to be their best. Communication doesn’t stop with your team, and you will actively seek constructive feedback for continuous improvement from your business stakeholders.

You will also:

  • You will have a relentless focus on delivering to the best of your ability for your team and store.
  • You must have experience of managing teams of managers
  • You will set an example for the right ways of working from the get-go, you will have a strong HR policy and employment law awareness.
  • You are self-aware and comfortable operating in ambiguity.
  • You have an appreciation of and adherence to operational and safety standards.
  • You have experience of visual merchandising.
