We are looking for a Reservations Manager who oversees the Reservations team, covering all restaurants and help deliver exceptional guest experiences. 


About the Role


As a Reservations Manager, you will be leading the Reservations team, supporting and guiding them to achieve required standards for sales goals and excellent customer service. As part of the Commercial team, you’ll set the Restaurant Reservations strategy in line with the department’s commercial ambitions. 


In this role, you will be responsible for smooth departmental operations in line with business standards ensuring that all booking related software is correctly set up to reflect each restaurant and to maximise covers. Working closely with Restaurant Management teams, you will use all booking channels to further drive and maximise covers utilising any opportunities within these 3rd parties. You will be required to provide relevant reporting and analysis to show business performance visibility followed by an action plan capturing any opportunities.


About You


You’ll have experience as a Reservations Manager or similar role, leading and growing a team, setting and executing strategies and with a sound knowledge of reservation operations and logistics within a restaurant or hospitality sector. You will be confident in carrying out exceptional service as well as being passionate about people, Harrods and going above and beyond to create moments of delight for our customers.


More specifically, you will also have:

  • Meticulous administrational and sales skills.
  • Good attention to detail which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and accurate reporting.
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability and willingness to multi-task.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a clear understanding of logistics and running events from an operational viewpoint.
  • Flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good PC and software literacy (Word, Excel, Reservations software such as Sevenrooms, Open Table, etc.)
