In Harrods Fine Watches, precision is everything. Our clients expect every timepiece to be flawless and that means quality control at the highest possible standard.

Reporting to the Oyster Team Manager, the Quality Control Associate will play an essential role in our brand-new, state-of-the-art Service Centre, ensuring every watch leaving the workshop meets the exacting standards of both Rolex and Harrods.

About the Role 

As part of the Quality Control team, you’ll be responsible for inspecting the final stages of the service journey to guarantee perfection in both performance and appearance. This is a hands-on role that requires technical skill, a meticulous eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering excellence for our discerning clientele.

In addition to this, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing final quality control on all watches, including cases, bracelets, and internal movements
  • Checking and validating timing tests before sign-off
  • Ensuring all work meets Rolex service standards for quality, lead time, and cost
  • Carrying out Rolex “Quick Service” tasks such as bracelet, strap, and link adjustments
  • Training new starters within the wider department to uphold consistent standards
  • Providing administrative support to the workshop team
  • Following all relevant Harrods and Rolex policies and procedures

This role is fully on site, working 5 out of the 7 days a week.

About You 

You will be self-motivated, well-organised, and collaborative, with a focus on accuracy and technical excellence. A passion for fine watchmaking and a commitment to quality are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-standards environment.

You will also:

  • Have Level 20 Rolex Accreditation (desirable) and basic mechanical watch movement knowledge
  • Understand luxury customer expectations and requirements
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to concentrate on detailed tasks
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
