We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and visionary Head of Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) to lead the operational running of our established IT PMO and extend its practices, frameworks, and processes across our business. This role is pivotal in forming a full-fledged EPMO that adheres to recognized methodologies and standards.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

About The Role

The EPMO Manager will not only act as maternity cover for our IT PMO Manager but also

replicate established PMO practice, frameworks and processes to departments across Harrods as we look to establish Hub PMOs and ultimately an Enterprise PMO.

This is a highly visible role and will require you to regularly engage with our IT Leadership Team as well as Directors, Head of and senior managers from other departments.

This role includes coaching, mentoring, training and leading the change across the business through both technical and business change. The role will line manage our IT PMO Analyst and our EMPO Analyst - and support with advice and guidance across to areas of the business where this is not yet established.

You will;

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the established IT PMO, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

· Develop and implement a tailored EPMO framework and processes for other departments, aligning with organizational goals and strategies.

· Lead the establishment of an Enterprise Portfolio Management Office

· Implement robust portfolio management practices, including risk management, financial oversight, and performance tracking.

· Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of portfolio management processes across the organization.

· Drive change management initiatives to support the successful adoption of EPMO practices.

· Monitor and report on the performance of the EPMO, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

· Produce and maintain a dashboard of leading strategic metrics & KPIs

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experience Enterprise PMO professional with a strong customer services focus when dealing with both internal and external parties. It is important that the successful candidate has a project management qualification or P30 as well previous experience in Portfolio delivery. We are looking for someone who is confident in working and partnering at all levels to ensure decisions are escalated to the relevant parties and considerations are made when there are changes in the project lifecycle.

You will also have the following;

· Previous experience of EPMO Set Up and Maturity

· University Level qualification. e.g. undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in a related field e.g. business, economics, computer science

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to perform duties effectively with minimum supervision

· Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and balance multiple tasks or project
