Here at Harrods, we are recruiting for a Merchandise Admin Assistant in Fashion.


As a Merchandise Admin Assistant, you will work cross functionally with our Buying and Retail teams, as well as other key stakeholders across Harrods. This is the perfect opportunity for a someone who has an eye for numbers and an analytical approach, as well as a passion for luxury retail. 


About the Role  


Our Merchandise Admin Assistants provide vital support to he Assistant Merchandiser and Merchandiser of their specific category. You will aim to effectively deliver departmental goals and KPIs across all channels (Store, Online & Regional Sites). This role will play a key role in supporting the Merchandising Planning team with tasks including PO and Stock Management, OTB Planning and Trade Analysis.


As a Merchandise Admin Assistant you will be involved in: 

  • Assisting in the production of pre-buy analysis to assist the Buying team with selecting the right product for the Harrods customer 
  • Assisting in the creation of seasonal and basic planning documents, such as OTB planning, option counts etc. to ensure we have the right stock available in Store at the right time. 
  • Produce key trade reports to identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.  
  • Work cross-functionally with Buying, Merchandising, Retail and Distribution to manage stock and resolve any issues quickly and effectively.

About You  


The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical eye and excellent admin skills, with a passion for the luxury retail industry. As a key point of contact in our Merchandising team, you will liaise with both internal teams and external vendors, for this reason we are looking for someone who can provide a high level of customer service. 


Your colleagues would describe you as detail orientated, adaptable and proactive. You will use your initiative to problem solve and build relationships quickly. 


You will also: 
•    Be an expert on Microsoft office, specially Excel. 
•    Thrive under pressure, able to meet key deadlines and timeframes.  
•    Have strong numeracy skills.  
•    Be solution focused.  
•    Have a good eye for detail.
