We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Photographer to join our team at Harrods, using your skills to enhance the shopping experience for our customers through our Harrods.com website. This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to begin their career in a team that will support your development and growth in the early stages of your career.

About the Role 

As a Junior Photographer, you will be producing high quality and consistently beautiful images, ensuring they are correctly exposed and colour consistent. You will be following a strong digital workflow and accurately name and archive digital asset files. You will ensure that all products are lit correctly, efficiently and creatively, in accordance with our guidelines.

You will be breaking down and creating sets whilst checking that all equipment is functioning. You will be setting up appropriate lighting and keeping accurate daily shoot records, and working with the stylist to choose images that comply to the Shoot/Style Guide. You will perform quality assurance on all images, and be assertive and constructive directing our models on set.

About You

As the successful Junior Photographer you will be self-driven and motivated for personal and team development. Having excellent communication and relationship building skills will be essential as you will be working closely with our stylists and production team taking commercial digital images of Harrods products. You will have outstanding time keeping and ability to meet deadlines.

You will also have:

  • The ability to work well within a team working under pressure with the right attitude.
  • Technical knowledge and practical experience of studio lighting.
  • High technical proficiency in Mac computers and software. Fluency in Photoshop CS, Bridge, and Capture One Pro is preferrable.
  • Ability to manage your own workload and targets.
