We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Fulfilment Assistant to join our dynamic Furniture Fulfilment team here at Harrods.

About the role

In this essential role, you will manage the complete lifecycle of customer Sales Orders (SOs) from order creation to successful delivery, ensuring smooth operations, timely fulfilment, and exceptional customer communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle domestic and international customer Sales Orders, consolidating multiple orders for individual clients as needed.
  • Proactively communicate with customers about order status, potential delays, and delivery expectations.
  • Manage the vendor confirmation process, ensuring every Purchase Order (PO) is confirmed within 48 hours and corrections are made promptly.
  • Oversee the invoice process, ensuring accurate PO amendments and timely invoice payments within the settlement period.
  • Process balance payments for outstanding customer orders, collaborating with our Transactions team.
  • Produce daily and weekly reports on various aspects of the fulfilment process.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, the buying team, retail staff, delivery teams, and stock operations.
  • Process Stock Transfer Orders for furniture sold in-store, supporting stock management queries with the buying and stock operations teams.

About you

You will have:

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in data management systems with basic SAP knowledge and intermediate Excel skills highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
  • Previous experience in order management, fulfilment, or a similar role is a plus.
