We have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our HR team here at Harrods. You will provide employee relations support and case management; predominantly managing behaviour, absence, performance, maternity/paternity, flexible working cases within a business area.

About the Role

As the Employee Relations Advisor you will provide expert HR support across multiple channels, including phone, email and web-based enquiries, managing employee relations and people management cases from inception through to resolution. You will coach and influence line managers on best practice people management, ensuring consistent application of policies while driving positive change across the business. Using management information and insight, you will identify trends, address recurring challenges and implement sustainable solutions that enhance the employee experience.

You will build strong relationships with employees and managers, delivering training and guidance that empowers leaders to confidently manage people matters with reduced reliance on HR support. Acting as a subject matter expert in employment law and company policies, you will ensure legislative compliance, support the development and continuous improvement of HR processes, and promote consistency in their application. In addition, you will maintain accurate HR records, support the growth of junior team members, and contribute to a culture of learning, accountability and operational excellence

About You

You are a highly organised and customer-focused HR professional with excellent communication skills, able to convey information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing, with exceptional attention to detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing high volumes of work accurately and meeting deadlines while maintaining a friendly, empathetic and solutions-focused approach to supporting colleagues and managers. Driven by continuous improvement, you are comfortable working with data from multiple sources, using insights to identify efficiencies, enhance processes and deliver an outstanding service
