Demi Chef de Partie

Here at Harrods, we currently house more celebrity chefs, and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK. You will be joining a passionate, supportive, and successful dining team, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store. 

We're looking for a Demi Chef De Partie chef who loves being at the heart of the action to join one of our exciting and exclusive new restaurant openings. 

About the Role
As a Demi Chef De Partie for our high profile new opening, your role is to act as a vital part of the team by ensuring the smooth running of a section and providing support to the Chef De Partie and other team members. 

In this role, you’ll actively provide direction and support to the team to deliver the day to day operational requirements. You’ll assist the management in the planning and forecasting of stock and orders, support with the organisation, stock rotation and labelling of food that is stored. 

You’ll guarantee that Food Safety standards are adhered to by enforcing a high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all-food related outlets. 

About You  
You’ll have a strong track record of hospitality experience, preferably within a high volume and/or branded restaurant environment.

As this position will be based within a highly anticipated, exclusive new restaurant concept, you’ll need to be able to keep a cool head under pressure, have great time management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties.

In return you'll be given all the training and support you'll need to develop your kitchen career at Harrods. 

You’ll have exceptional interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail, which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels.

•    Competitive hourly salary of up to £16 (made up of a generous base salary plus service charge)*
