We are looking for an experienced Demand Planner to join our Merchandising team on a fixed term contract for 18 months.

About the Role 

Our Demand Planning function are tasked with reviewing and optimising system driven forecasts through statistical analysis, data modelling and other demand influencing factors to drive forecast accuracy. As a Demand Planner for our Childrenswear category, you will manage the demand signal across the category, for the purposes of driving the Supply Chain and supporting gross sales planning and execution. You will deliver continuous improvements to business planning accuracy, enhancing sales performance and optimise inventory holdings.

Your duties will include:

  • Developing the demand plan and fulfilment for all sites and ensure its quality for all retail channels.
  • Ensuring forecast consistency and accuracy, through the building of a consensus between the commercial forecasts, the financial trends and sales history.
  • Managing master data relating to replenishment.
  • Challenging and consolidating the promotion and launch sales forecasts projected by the Buying and Retail teams.
  • Participating in all relevant projects and implement process improvements across the wider Demand Planning team.


About You 

You will be someone with prior experience within a Demand Planning function, able to work at a fast pace within a fashion category. You will be an expert in SAP or a similar software, with excellent numerical and analytical skills. Pairing strong time management with great stakeholder management, you will be able to deliver to key deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
