Chef de Partie

Here at Harrods, we currently house more celebrity chefs, and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK. You will be joining a passionate, supportive, and successful dining team, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store. 

We're looking for a Chef De Partie who loves being at the heart of the action to join one of our exciting and exclusive new restaurant openings. 

About the Role
As a Chef De Partie for our high profile new opening, your role is to act as a vital part of the team by ensuring the smooth running of a section and providing support to the Sous Chef and other team members. 

In this role, you’ll actively provide direction and support to the team to deliver the operational requirements of the day as needed. You’ll assist the management in planning and forecasting of stock and orders, also supporting with the organisation, stock rotation and labelling of food stored.

You’ll guarantee that Food Safety standards are adhered to by enforcing the high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all-food related outlets. 

About You 
You’ll have a strong track record of hospitality experience, preferably within a high volume and/or branded restaurant environment and ideally be comfortable cooking and preparing meat based ingredients.

As this position will be based within a highly anticipated, exclusive new restaurant concept, you’ll need to be able to keep a cool head under pressure, have great time management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties.

As the Chef de Partie, you need to be confident working on all sections of the main kitchen, and be able to supervise the junior cooks in your area. 

You’ll have great time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties. You’ll have exceptional interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail, which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels. Having good PC literacy is a must.

•    Competitive hourly salary of up to £17 (made up of a generous base salary plus service charge)*
