The Cash Handler will assist the cash handling manager to reconcile till cash trade, ensuring all takings are received and imputed via ISA system. This role will assist the cash handling manager by maintaining an audit trail of all monies entered in the tills each trading day.

About you

As a cash handler, you’ll have experience in performing cash collections , including special cash collections from the till and de-coining the shop floor till floats when they are no longer required. Taking in the procedure of ‘cash bags’ at the end of the day, as well as complementing special cash collections from tills is another example of experience our ideal candidate would have.

You will have experience in counting and processing cash, cheques, foreign exchange and gift vouchers daily from the shop floor via ISA cash counting machine. Further to this, our ideal candidate will have experience in counting bulk deliveries of coins and check in readiness for banking, as well distributing change to shop floor and cashing PCV’s from the Coin Centre change desk.
