We launched our second H Beauty store in Milton Keynes to bring more magic, innovation, and theatre to the beauty market. H Beauty gives our customers an experiential retail experience that allows them to creatively engage with and learn more about the beauty products they are purchasing, while enjoying a fun and creative retail environment.

Responsibilities

You will drive consistent delivery of the retail, client and employee engagement strategy to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for the Harrods brand. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Sales Manager and inspire the team to deliver exceptional sales and service by flexing between coaching and directive management as appropriate.
  • Support our vision to not only drive new revenues, but bring the Harrods story, experience, values and magic to new customers.
  • Responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in the development of talent within your team of Beauty Consultants.
  • Constantly monitor the standard of service to the customer by the team to ensure that it is of the required standard.
  • Support the Sales Manager in managing the company KPI’s in line with company procedures to achieve targets as well as all back of house operations and visual merchandising
  • Build effective working relationships with support functions including buying, distribution, visual merchandising and HR.

About you

You will possess strong leadership skills with an ability to coach so that our teams become true retail superheroes. Amongst the qualities that make you shine are:

  • Previous retail management experience.
  • Experience having directly line managed teams of 10 plus.
  • Whilst experience within the beauty space is not essential, you must have a passion for beauty.
  • Strong people management skills with an ability to identify individual needs and how to tailor your approach to keep morale high amongst the team.
  • Comfortable with managing teams to achieve results through coaching and developing.
  • Proven track record of hitting KPIS and sales targets as you will lead from the front to inspire your team.
  • Able to commute to and work from Milton Keynes.
  • Commercially astute and able treat your business area as if it was your own business.
