Team Leader

Our Dispatch team are currently looking for a Team Leader (Nights) to support the Distribution function within our Knightsbridge store.

About the Role 

In this role within the Dispatch department, you will support and report to the Manager in the day to day running of the department ensuring that all KPI’s and objectives are met. You will be responsible for managing the DCIN report to ensure all customer deliveries are dispatched on time and that all internal service issues are addressed within the team.

This position works a Night Shift 11pm-7am , predominately Monday to Friday however weekend work can be expected over our busy periods.

This role will also include:

•    Managing the packing of all customer deliveries and ensuring SLA’s are met.
•    Overseeing warehouse operatives’ individual task. Responsible for checking all tasks are carried out correctly according to department procedures.
•    Investigating customer service complaints and escalating where appropriate.
•    Assisting the Delivery Services team when required.

About You

As Team Leader you will have experience in warehouse and distribution roles giving you great attention to detail in the day to day endeavours in the department. You will also be a valuable team player who thrives on getting the job done to the high Harrods standards. 

As you will be using online systems in your day-to-day checks of deliveries, you will need to be computer literate and experience in using SAP systems will be advantageous. Numerical, Literacy and communication skills are essential.
