Tailor

Our Alterations team are now looking for a highly skilled Tailor to deliver exceptional workmanship across a diverse range of luxury garments. This is a role for an expert craftsperson who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in creating flawless, personalised results for our customers.

This is a fixed-term contract until April 2027.

About the Role

As a Tailor, you will carry out complex tailoring and technical repairs across all garment categories, spanning both Menswear and Womenswear. You will also complete fittings with precision and confidence, working expertly with challenging materials including fur, leather, bias‑cut silks, and technical fabrics.

Beyond your craftsmanship, you will support operational excellence by managing daily work allocations, ensuring productivity levels remain consistently high, and completing all paperwork and system entries accurately. You will also perform quality control checks and provide technical solutions to ensure every garment meets our exacting standards. At times, you may support the shopfloor by training sales teams on basic alterations.

You will:

• Deliver complex tailoring across all garment types to the highest standard.
• Carry out basic and express alterations when required.
• Perform accurate fittings across varied styles and specialist fabrics.
• Provide exceptional customer service during every interaction.
• Keep productivity high and consistent across all tasks, including quality control checks on finished pieces.
• Complete all paperwork and system updates clearly and accurately.
• Offer technical solutions for challenging fits or construction issues.
• Support sales teams with training on basic alteration knowledge when needed.

This role is fully on site, working 5 out of the 7 days a week.

You will be an expert tailor with advanced knowledge of garment construction and refined skills across both Menswear and Womenswear. You take pride in the precision of your work, and you’re able to adapt seamlessly between complex tailoring tasks and quicker, express alterations.

With strong problem‑solving abilities and a calm, assured approach to fittings, you can confidently work with luxury materials and technical fabrics. You thrive in a collaborative, customer‑focused environment and bring a meticulous eye for detail to everything you do.

You will bring:

• Advanced tailoring skills across all garment types.
• Proven experience working with luxury fabrics and complex constructions.
• Confidence conducting fittings on diverse garment styles.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
