We have an exciting opportunity for an Event Executive to join our Harrods Events Team. This position will support the delivery and execution of both the Harrods Events Strategy and our Brand Partners’ planned activities.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for liaising with internal and external teams, to collate event briefs and develop creative proposals. You will create event timelines and work within budgets, ensuring all aspects of event planning remain on budget while securing necessary Health and Safety approvals and completing Risk Assessment Method Statements promptly.

Additionally, you will coordinate suppliers and internal teams, project managing and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure everything runs smoothly and on schedule. This role includes overseeing both domestic and international events, aligning them with our global events and marketing strategy.

This role works within a wider team of 6, it is a hybrid role that follows office hours with out of hours work for events, for which time is given back in lieu. Details of this will be discussed further at the first stage with the Resourcing team.

About You

You are an ambitious and creative thinker, eager to advance in the world of luxury retail eventing. You are an effective communicator who builds collaborative relationships with teams and the wider business. This role could suit someone from an account management or current events executive position who can coordinate multiple tasks efficiently and liaise effectively with various teams across the business.

You will also:

  • Have extensive experience presenting confidently to senior stakeholders.
  • Have experience coordinating successful events [beneficial].
  • Be highly organised.
  • Have a solutions-focused approach, identifying problems and bringing them to resolution.
