Event Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurants Events Executive to join our Harrods Restaurants Events Team. This position will support the delivery and execution of both the Harrods Events Strategy and our Brand Partners’ planned activities.

About the Role

The Restaurant Event Executive will join our Harrods Events Team, working closely with the restaurant teams including restaurant sales executives to deliver exceptional events. This role will plan and deliver a range of events from intimate private dining experiences to full restaurant brand takeovers. Additionally, the Restaurant Events Executive will coordinate suppliers and internal teams, project managing and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure everything runs smoothly and on schedule.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

This role is a hybrid role that follows office hours with out of hours work for events, for which time is given back in lieu.

About You

You will have experience in event operations and reservations within the restaurant and hospitality sector, with a proven track record of coordinating successful events in the luxury hospitality industry.

You will also be:

• An ambitious, highly organised individual who works at a very high standard
• Highly functional operational event executive, identifying problems before they occur and ensuring relevant logistics are in place to problem solve
• Confident drawing up and managing budgets and reporting back to the Senior Event Manager or Event Manager on running spend
• An effective communicator who builds collaborative relationships with others
• Skilled at organisation, project coordination and delivery.
• At ease presenting to senior stakeholders
• Willing to work evening & weekend events
