We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our Dispatch team as a Delivery Van Driver.

About the Role 

In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of customer orders and the collection of returns within London and surrounding areas.
Other responsibilities include:
•    Delivering customer orders and collecting returns in London and nearby regions.
•    Transporting internal deliveries between Knightsbridge, Hammersmith Headquarters, and other designated sites as needed.
•    Upholding high personal standards to ensure a professional and courteous delivery experience for our valued customers.
•    Adhering strictly to the Highway Code and parking regulations.
•    Handling customer deliveries with care and attention.
•    Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the interior and exterior of the delivery van.

This role works a rotating shift pattern between the hours of 8am and 9pm, and includes regular weekend work. 

*please note this role requires you to complete and pass a medical assessment, Highway Code assessment and practical driving assessment. 

About You 

You will ideally have experience in luxury delivery services and have a strong desire to represent Harrods, particularly in delivering high-end products to our esteemed customers.

Your role will require exceptional customer focus and communication skills. You should be adept at engaging with customers in a professional and courteous manner during deliveries. 

You will also have:
•    A valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
•    The ability to manage time efficiently and work independently.
•    Physically fit and capable of lifting packages when necessary.
•    Familiarity with London and surrounding areas. 
•    Experience using a PDA scanner is preferred.
