The role of the Driver in Valet Parking is one of the most unique within Harrods, you are likely to be our customer’s first and last contact on any given visit to the store, so impeccable service is everything. You will work collaboratively with the wider Valet Parking team including Hosts and management.
This role works in a shift pattern across 7 days.
About the Role
As a Driver in this team you will provide a warm welcome and ensure the process of parking at Harrods is smooth. You will be greeting customers on entry and safely, confidently and efficiently parking their cars while following process. On occasion you will also be required to assist with front of house tasks, including some administration and POS transactions.
This unique department is looking for someone who can always deliver a quality service. You will be hard-working and able to cope under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You are a friendly person with an understanding that every interaction with a customer counts. You have strong team-work capabilities and a quality verbal communicator.
You will also be:
- Over 25 and UK Driving Licence required (for insurance purposes)
- Hard-working and able to cope under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Have demonstrated customer service experience with an understanding that every interaction with a customer counts
- Experienced driver in a professional setting (preferred)
- Open minded with a can-do attitude with great verbal communication skills
- Presentable to the highest standard, behaviour and grooming in line with the company’s uniform and dress code.
- Trustworthy and with high levels of integrity and initiative
